Given the ongoing situation in London concerning a potential vehicle borne explosive device, could we ask your organisation to be especially vigilant at this time and to report any activity relating to suspicious vehicles?
Obviously the situation is extremely fluid and subject to change. At this moment in time there is no specific intelligence to indicate that any location within Staffordshire will be targeted by any individual or organisation.
Staffordshire Police are currently engaged in notifying all locations where large numbers of people regularly congregate of the above advice and will coordinate a local response.
Should you wish to report any suspicious activity, please call Staffordshire Police on 08453 302010 and explain that you are responding to this message.
It is possible that you may be further contacted regarding this matter, updated with further information or be requested to assist Staffordshire Police in our enquiries / actions.
